Diamond Jewellery Manufacturing for Professionals

IMDIAM coordinates the production of your jewellery from Surat, depending on the level of outsourcing required. We can help deliver a setting-ready structure or a complete piece with diamonds, depending on the project.

Each project goes through a partner workshop selected based on the jewellery type, metal and expected finish. IMDIAM acts as an on-site liaison and coordinates production stages — it does not manufacture directly.

Who it is for

Designed for professionals who want to produce, offload or develop a line of diamond jewellery without internalising everything.

Photo 1

The jeweller who outsources

You already have your clients, your activity and sometimes your workshop, but you want to offload certain pieces, absorb more volume or respond to a specific request. We coordinate manufacturing in Surat while you keep the client relationship and project direction.

Photo 2

The creator or developing brand

You want to launch a first piece, a small run or a collection of diamond jewellery. You can come with an idea, a visual reference, a sketch or a commercial brief. We help you turn the project into a workable base for production.

Photo 3

The professional with an advanced project

You already have a design, a 3D file, a technical reference or a sufficiently clear client request, but you need a structured manufacturing relay. We prepare the handover to the on-site workshops, monitor key stages and inspect the piece before shipment.

Our two formats

Depending on your organisation, you choose how much you delegate. We adapt the level of support accordingly.

Workshop capabilities

The steps handled on-site in Surat. These are not separate offers — they are the production stages that make up each project depending on the chosen level of support.

01

3D printing

Printing the model from the validated CAD file. Allows proportions and volumes to be checked before metal production begins.

02

Casting

Metal casting according to the chosen alloy. The piece takes its initial shape from the printed model or 3D file.

03

Shaping

Adjustment of the raw structure: thickness, prongs, setting base, framework. The piece is prepared to receive the stones.

04

Setting

Placing the diamonds according to the validated setting type: claw, pavé, bezel, channel or other. Carried out by specialist setters.

05

Polishing

Surface finishing of the completed piece: surface condition, overall brilliance and cleaning before visual inspection.

06

Visual inspection

Inspection of the piece before shipment: overall appearance, visible finishing, apparent setting and consistency with validated elements.

07

Pre-shipment documentation

Photos or videos sent before dispatch to allow visual validation of the actual result.

How it works

01

Brief & framing

You share the first elements of the project: jewellery type, visual reference, desired metal, stones, dimensions, quantity, budget and expected finish. IMDIAM clarifies any missing information before any committing step, in order to build a clear and workable project base.

02

CAD & design validation

Once the brief is framed and the technical details validated, the CAD can be launched or adjusted. For a diamond jewellery piece, this step structures the piece, checks proportions, volumes, stone positions and manufacturing constraints before moving to the workshop.

03

Diamond sourcing

Depending on the chosen formula and the project requirements, diamond sourcing can be integrated at this stage. IMDIAM coordinates the search with its specialist partner according to your criteria: type, shape, carat, quality, budget and availability. Sourcing can take place before or in parallel with manufacturing depending on the project.

04

Workshop production

After design validation, production is launched with the workshop suited to the project. Casting, shaping, rework, setting, polishing and finishing are coordinated according to the validated specifications and the chosen level of support.

05

Photos & validation before shipping

Before shipment, visuals of the finished piece are sent. They allow you to check the real result of the jewellery, the visible finishing and the main elements before dispatch.

Shipment

Shipment is prepared after final validation. Import fees, VAT, customs duties and any other costs related to the destination country remain to be clarified before dispatch and may vary depending on destination, declared value and applicable regulations.

Frequently asked questions

Do you manufacture the jewellery yourselves?+

Manufacturing is carried out within our on-site workshops in Surat. Our role goes beyond simply passing on a request: we prepare the project information, launch production, monitor key stages and inspect the piece before shipment.

Do you work with new brand creators?+

Yes. Our support also covers creators who want to launch a first piece, a small run or a collection of diamond jewellery. You can come with an idea, a visual reference, a sketch or a more advanced project.

Do I need to already have a 3D file?+

No. Some clients come with an existing CAD file, others with a photo, an idea or a client request. If the project requires a 3D file, it is prepared after clarifying the necessary technical information.

Can you produce a setting-ready structure?+

Yes. Depending on your organisation, we can deliver a setting-ready structure so that your workshop keeps the setting, assembly or finishing. This is useful if you want to keep certain steps in-house while outsourcing the base manufacturing.

Can you deliver a fully finished piece?+

Yes. Production can go all the way to a complete piece: manufacturing, setting, polishing, finishing, visual inspection and preparation before shipment. The level of support is defined according to your needs from the outset.

Do you also source the diamonds?+

Yes, diamond sourcing can be integrated into the project. It draws on our specialist network, based on the criteria required: diamond type, shape, quality, dimensions, budget and availability at the time of the request.

How is the project monitored during manufacturing?+

Key stages are monitored on-site in Surat. Photos, videos or visual updates can be sent at key moments to check progress, visible finishing and points to validate before continuing.

Can I see the piece before it is shipped?+

Yes. Before dispatch, visuals of the finished piece are sent to validate the real result. This step allows you to check the main elements before shipment.

What lead times should I expect?+

Lead times depend on the jewellery type, complexity, stones, finishing level, setting and workshop availability. No fixed timeline is confirmed without prior technical validation of the project.

Are customs fees and VAT included?+

No. Import fees, VAT, customs duties and any other costs related to the destination country depend on local regulations, declared value and shipping method. These elements must be clarified before dispatch.

A successful piece of jewellery does not rest on a beautiful design alone. It rests on manufacturing that is controlled, monitored, and verified at every step.
