Jewellers and designers. Setting, finishes and proportions visually checked and documented before each dispatch.

Quality Control and Visual Validation Before Shipment

Before shipment, the piece is visually checked and documented. Once manufacturing is complete, the piece does not go straight to dispatch. It goes through a visual inspection stage: overall appearance, visible finishing, setting, polishing, proportions and consistency with the validated project elements.

Photos or videos are then sent to allow validation of the actual result before dispatch. Working remotely, trust is built on clear visual proof.

Why this step exists

When a jeweller, brand or creator has a piece produced at a distance, they cannot see the workshop or handle the piece before it arrives. This step reduces uncertainty: showing the real result, checking visible elements, documenting the finished piece and confirming dispatch before shipment.

What we check

  • Overall appearance of the piece
  • Visible proportions
  • Polish and apparent surface condition
  • Visible setting
  • Apparent alignment of elements
  • Consistency with the validated project elements
  • Visible points before shipment

What you receive

  • Photos of the finished piece
  • Short validation video
  • 360° video if available
  • Detail shots of finishing or setting
  • Confirmation before shipment
  • Visual record of the project

How it works

01

End of production

The piece comes out of manufacturing, setting, polishing or finishing depending on the chosen level of support. It is prepared for visual inspection before packaging or dispatch.

02

Visual inspection

The piece is examined visually: overall appearance, visible finishing, apparent setting, surface condition, proportions and consistency with the validated project elements.

03

Visual documentation

Photos or videos are taken to give a clear view of the finished piece. Depending on the project, a short video, a detail shot or a 360° video may be included.

04

Validation before dispatch

The client receives the visuals and confirms dispatch. If a visible point raises a question, it is reviewed before shipment.

What this step is not

This is a visual and operational inspection carried out before shipment. It does not replace an independent gemological assessment, laboratory certification or legal guarantee. The points checked depend on the piece type, finish level and elements validated for the project. Internal elements, non-visible elements or elements that cannot be checked visually cannot be validated at this stage.

Frequently asked questions

Do I receive photos before shipment?+

Yes. Photos of the finished piece are sent before dispatch to allow visual validation of the actual result. Depending on the project, a short video may also be included.

Is a 360° video always available?+

No. The 360° video depends on the project, piece type and production conditions. It can be planned if requested or suitable for the project.

Does this step replace a laboratory inspection?+

No. The visual inspection covers visible elements before shipment. It does not replace a gemological assessment, certification or independent laboratory control.

What happens if I notice something in the visuals?+

If a visible point raises a question after receiving the visuals, it is reviewed before confirming dispatch. The goal is to clarify visible elements before shipment.

Is this step included in the manufacturing service?+

Visual documentation and validation before dispatch may be part of the on-site follow-up depending on the chosen level of support. Details are confirmed during the project briefing stage.

Working remotely, trust is built on clear visual proof.
