Jewellers and designers. From brief to usable 3DM file, before manufacturing.

Jewellery CAD for Diamond Projects

Before manufacturing, the idea needs to be made workable. From a photo, a sketch, a reference, an existing piece, a client brief or an existing file, we prepare an exploitable 3D foundation for a diamond jewellery project.

CAD is not just a presentation image. It is a technical preparation step: volumes, proportions, dimensions, metal thickness, stone placement, setting type and overall coherence of the piece. What can be adjusted on file often becomes more complex, more costly or impossible once manufacturing is committed.

Who it is for

This step is for professionals who want to build a solid foundation before committing to production.

Photo 1

The jeweller without CAD tools

You receive a client request with a reference photo. You need a 3D file and a technical read to move forward without guesswork.

Photo 2

The creator or new brand

You are developing a first piece or a small collection. The CAD and its technical sheet let you validate the design and get a cost orientation before committing.

Photo 3

The professional with an existing CAD

You already have a 3D file but want it reviewed, adapted or prepared before production, with an updated technical read on the way out.

What you receive

The CAD deliverable is not just a 3D image. Depending on the project, it includes everything needed to understand the piece and prepare the next steps.

  • 01Exploitable 3DM file
  • 02Design validation views
  • 03CAD technical sheet — dimensions, proportions, stones, setting, metal, estimated weight

The validation views help understand the visual result. The technical sheet is used to prepare the next steps: manufacturing, estimate, workshop, control.

If the project is then to be produced with our on-site workshops, these elements can serve as the basis for a first indicative estimate — not a final quote.

Based on your starting point

Whether you are starting from scratch or from an existing file, the approach adapts. The final deliverable remains the same: 3DM file, validation views and CAD technical sheet.

CAD from scratch

Full modelling

CAD from scratch

You send us your references — photo, sketch, description or brief — and we build the 3D file integrating the project constraints: metal or alloy, stones, setting style, dimensions, finish. The deliverable includes the validated 3DM file and a CAD technical sheet.

  • Reference analysis and clarification of missing elements
  • Full 3D modelling
  • Rounds of adjustment until visual validation
  • Exploitable 3DM file
  • CAD technical sheet
  • Indicative manufacturing estimate if the project is intended for our on-site workshops

Revision or adaptation

Existing CAD to rework

You already have a 3D file but it needs to be reviewed, corrected or adapted before production. We assess the existing file, work at the level required and produce an updated technical sheet before the next step.

  • Existing file analysis
  • Identification and correction of points to revise
  • Adaptation to project constraints
  • Updated 3DM file
  • CAD technical sheet
  • Indicative manufacturing estimate if the project is intended for our on-site workshops

Existing CAD to rework

How it works

01

Brief & references

You send us what you have: photo, sketch, description, visual reference or existing file. The more complete the elements, the closer the first result will be.

02

Technical clarification

We identify what is missing before starting: jewellery type, metal or alloy, stones, dimensions, setting style, finish. Every unconfirmed point is handled here — not after.

03

Modelling & validation

The 3D file is built from the validated elements. Views of the model are sent for visual validation before finalising.

04

Delivery

You receive the exploitable 3DM file and the CAD technical sheet. If the project is intended for manufacturing with our workshops, these elements serve as the basis for a first indicative estimate.

Confidentiality

Your designs stay yours

CAD files, designs and client briefs are never shared without explicit authorisation. Every project is handled confidentially, from first transmission through to delivery.

Frequently asked questions

What do I receive with the CAD?+

You receive an exploitable 3DM file, accompanied depending on the project by a CAD technical sheet. This sheet can include the main views of the piece, dimensions, thickness, metal information, diamond count, stone sizes and estimated total diamond weight. If the project is then to be manufactured with our on-site workshops, these elements can also serve as the basis for a first indicative estimate.

I don't have a 3D file. Can I still work with you?+

Yes. That is the most common case. You can send a photo, a sketch, a reference or a description — we start from there to build the 3D model.

I already have a CAD. Can you review or rework it?+

Yes. If you have a file but want it reviewed, corrected or adapted before production, we assess what you have and work at the level required.

Is the estimate a final quote?+

No. The indicative estimate gives a first manufacturing range. It helps understand the potential cost of the project but does not replace a final quote validated after full study, material choices, stones, finishes and production conditions.

Does the project have to be in gold?+

No. The CAD can be prepared according to the metal or alloy planned for the project: gold, silver, platinum or any other technically validated metal. Metal weight is expressed in grams, while diamond weight is expressed in carats.

Can I change the design after validation?+

Yes, but a change after validation may require a new study and could impact cost or timeline. We clarify this before resuming work.

Does the CAD include diamond sourcing?+

The technical sheet integrates stone parameters: size, count, placement, setting type. Diamond sourcing is a separate service that can be coordinated depending on the project.

Is it possible to visualise the piece in 3D before production?+

Yes. Views of the model are sent during the process for visual validation. More advanced visualisation options may be considered depending on the project.

A CAD file does not just visualise a piece of jewellery. It helps understand what the piece requires before manufacturing: volumes, metal, stones, proportions, technical constraints and a first cost basis.
